Joanne Bur

Meet Joanne Bur. Joanne has been crafting felted wool purses and knitting scarves for the past four years. Joanne got her start when her daughter was getting married. She crafted cotton face cloths and soap for the shower, and that’s how she learned to knit. Joanne is completely self-taught. She saw someone knitting, and thought, “Hey, I can do this!” so she bought a pattern and went from there. Joanne takes patterns and modifies them to “suit her fancy.” No two purses are alike, so you can be assured your handcrafted purse from Joanne is one of a kind. Joanne likes to create purses for her daughter. “They told me the colors they wanted and I was able to create something unique and special.” Joanne can also do custom orders for you! The purses are 100 percent wool, excluding the decorative yarns. They have been washed three times in hot water, and you can wash them in cold water after you purchase them.
