Pat Biscarner

Meet Pat Biscarner. Pat is a co-owner of River Place Mercantile, and is a woman of endless crafting talents. She especially likes to weave baskets, sew dolls, create floral arrangements, paint glass, make fleece blankets, and craft beautiful wreaths. She has twenty years of crafting experience, and she credits her mother for her beginnings. “We took a basket weaving class together and that was it! Basket weaving is one of those crafts where you start with a pile of something, and end up with a beautiful basket. When people take my classes, they often wonder what they’ve gotten themselves into. But in three hours, they realize they’ve made something truly special.” Pat finds inspiration in the world around her. She sees something cute, and then will change it to make it her own. Pat’s favorite piece is a basket she made for her daughter’s wedding.  Her granddaughter, Avery, carried the basket filled with rose petals down the aisle. Now it is forever immortalized in her granddaughter’s memory box. Pat makes unique gifts that appeal to everyone, and she also does custom orders.
