Meet Sandra Bonito. Sandy has been a decorative artist, basket weaver, and an antique jewelry maker for twenty years. Sandra got her start in crafts when she found she loved the look of certain items, but found she couldn’t afford the prices. Sandra was a home economics teacher for ten years before she got married. Then she started taking painting classes. She always keeps learning, and she credits it for what keeps her young. She finds inspiration from friends, and her passion is painting special orders. “My clients are so excited and pleased when they get their order,” she says. One of Sandra’s specialties is taking antique silver spoons and making beautiful, unique bracelets. She says often families bring her odds and ends they have saved.
