Meet Sharon Marcotte. Sharon
has been crafting all sorts of fun things for the past thirty five
years. She specializes in quilting, appliqué, woodworking, and
repurposed art. She got her start working in Mary Maxim, but she has
been sewing since she was ten. One of Sharon's specialties is a Grapevine
Christmas tree, which you will be able to find at River Place Mercantile
in the beginning of November. Sharon finds inspiration in her workshop
where she has acquired years worth of treasures. Her absolute favorite
piece is a woven tree about three feet high. "I met my husband
Joe in that weaving class. It's what we made that day, and it will
always be a special memory." Along with finding the love of her
life, Sharon found a of love of crafting. Her works of art appeal to
to all ages. Need a unique gift for that special someone who has everything?
Stop by the River Place Mercantile to see a one of a kind repurposed
piece of art. Sharon often uses antique wood and metal to create fun
and modern looks for the home. You can also ask her about custom orders. Contact
