Class Policies

Some of our classes require a book and/or a pattern for participation. Please purchase it, as well as your fabric, before the first day of class. We will give you a 10% discount on the fabric required for your class. The discount must be taken at the time of purchase. Please remind the cashier that you are buying fabric for a class.

For some classes, it will be helpful to cut your fabric prior to coming in. Check the class requirements. Be sure to bring with you to class: basic sewing equipment such as sewing machine and sewing machine manual and accessories, pins, scissors, needles, seam rippers, thread, rotary cutter, mat, rulers, pencils, and notepad, along with a smile and a friendly attitude.

Payment, either in person, by phone with credit card, or online, is due at the time of class enrollment. We will hold places in classes only for those who have paid. Upon receipt of your payment, we will furnish you with the information on requirements for the class.

If you find you cannot attend a class in which you are enrolled, we can give you credit toward another class if you change or cancel at least three days before the first session. Because of the commitment we must make to our teachers, we cannot give credits after that time. If you find at the last minute you cannot attend a class, you might invite a friend to come in your place.

We will make every attempt tohold the class as scheduled. However, there may be times when we must cancel a class. We will cancel the class if only one person registers (at the instructor's discretion). To avoid this type of cancellation, you might ask a friend to take a class with you! If we must cancell a class for any reason, we will refund your class fee.

If you would like us to offer a special class, get two of your friends to take it with you, and we will be happy to work with you.
